Dear students in room 205,
Hi, my name is Becky Bellew. I am thrilled to be your third grade teacher. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
I was born in Santiago, the capital of Chile. I was born April 1, no kidding!
I have lived in many places. I grew up in Spain. I also lived in the state of Georgia, the state of Arizona, and the state of California for a short time. And of course, now I live in Minnesota.
I have a marvelous family. My spouse’s name is Kenny. He is from Oklahoma, a state to the south of Minnesota. My daughter’s name is Jenny and she is 25 years old. Seth, my son, is 23 years old. I also have four brothers.
I have worked in the Minneapolis schools for 18 years. This is my eleventh year at Windom and I love working here!
In my free time, more than anything, I like to spend time with my family. I also like to ride bikes and I love to read a good book.
I am so excited to have you in my class and I know that together we will have a successful and fun year!

Hola, me llamo Becky Bellew. Estoy muy emocionada de poder ser tu maestra de tercer grado. Te quiero contar un poco acerca de mí.
Yo nací en Santiago, la capital de Chile. Nací el 1 de abril, que en los Estados Unidos es el día de los Santos Inocentes.
He vivido en muchos lugares. He vivido en el estado de Georgia, el estado de Arizona, el estado de California y también he vivido en España. Y claro, ahora vivo en Minnesota.
Tengo una familia maravillosa. Mi esposo se llama Kenny. El es de Oklahoma, un estado al sur de Minnesota. Mi hija se llama Jenny y tiene 21 años. Mi hijo, Seth, tiene 19 años. También tengo cuatro hermanos.
He trabajado en las escuelas de Minneapolis por 18 años. Llevo 11 años en Windom y me encanta trabajar aquí.
En mi tiempo libro, mas que nada me gusta pasar el tiempo con mi familia. También me gusta andar en bicicleta y me encanta leer un buen libro.
Estoy tan emocionada de tenerte en mi clase y sé que juntos tendremos un año lleno de éxitos y diversión.
